Miniature WW1 German bayonet, circa 1915. With knot. Scabbard is itched with the Niederwalddenkmal monument.
The bayonet is around 9" in overall length.
This is very rare and highly desirable model.

The Niederwalddenkmal is a monument located in the Niederwald, near Rüdesheim am Rhein in Hesse, Germany. Built between 1871 and 1883 to commemorate the Unification of Germany.
The picture of this bayonet can be found in Thomas Wittmann's book "Collecting the edged weapons of Imperial Germany, Volume 1" on page 265, see last pictures.
