    Description

1947 Ideal BETSY WETSY Catalog AD (Reproduction)
This listing is for an exact black and white REPRODUCTION of the original  SEARS catalog advertisement for the Ideal doll company's 1947 BETSY WETSY dolls.    This Betsy Wetsy doll was advertised as having magic skin ( the NEW Synthetic RUBBER), which had just been developed after World War II.    If you have these dolls this is a good replacement for the original ad.    This ad lists and shows all the accessories that came in the travel suitcase with Betsy.  The trunk was called an airplane valise and was covered with travel labels.   This ad  is approximately 8 x 10 inches in size and printed on quality acid free paper.     My photo only shows half the ad page, but you will receive the WHOLE ad page.   This is a great reference item for your doll collection.
Please email if you have any questions, as I have spent many years collecting and researching doll historical items.    Please click on my user id for more information on My World page.
