1984 1985 Nissan 300ZX OEM Radio/Cassette Deck - REFURBISHED!

Description

This is a Hitachi CSK-7101Z radio/cassette combo, serial number 31224237Q, which was OEM for the 1984 and 1985 Nissan 300ZX with the GL trim level (cloth seats, analog gauges, manual HVAC controls). This unit has been dis-assembled, cleaned, and checked.
The radio portion has been gone through, which includes cleaning all volume, tone, fader, and balance potentiometers. The FM stereo separation was adjusted along with the "SCAN" function sensitivity.
The cassette deck was cleaned, lubricated, and the drive belts replaced. The cassette mechanism motor was flushed and lubricated. The pinch rollers still had good, pliable, rubber and just needed cleaning and reconditioning. The playback head was cleaned and demagnetized.
Cosmetically, the unit is in outstanding condition with none of the typical chipped or worn silver paint on the control knobs and buttons as usually found on this model due to age.
Please note that this unit will also work in the 1986 through 1989 300ZX's with the GL trim level (including the 1988 "Shiro") and is cosmetically and functionally identical with the exception being that the 1986 and later GL radios had two antenna inputs - one for the main mast and a second for the diversity antenna (found in the rear hatch glass). This unit only has provision for the main mast antenna but will work fine on the later cars.
