Antique Bride's Flower Girl's Bridal Basket Petite Pink Cased Glass Silverplate England Signed
This is for an exquisite petite scallop edged, handled silverplate basket with textured cased glass insert intact.  In good antique condition (circa late 1800s) - no malformations in silverplate basket, glass insert has one flea bite on rim (less than 1/16" - please see close up photos), otherwise in great shape - custom formed to fit into basket.  Please see photos last pictures shows small flea bite.
Basket is 3" tall, 6" from bottom to topmost part of handle when handle is fully extended.  5-1/4" at widest point of scallop pie crust edged basket top rim, 2-1/4" wide at base of basket.
Signed GB&S inside shield on base - dating this piece to 1877-1878 - made by George Bowen & Son, Birmingham, England.
