Antique Carnival Big Bang Cap Gun Cane National 1909 Patent Cast Iron Toy

Item Description
A neat early carnival cane where the bottom is a holder for roll caps and pressing down on the cane makes the bang and advances the roll.  In overall good condition except the stick is broken.  There is also a small piece of wood missing at the break.  Has some wear and finish loss overall.  We do not have caps to test, but this does look to be complete.  The spring steel that does the advancing is a bit rusted, so we are not sure that will work.  There is a small split in the bottom of the wood where it attaches, but it is solid.  Canes is about 29" long, bottom bears a 1909 patent date.
