Antique English Old Sheffield Basket Silverplate on Copper Chased Embossed

Description

We are pleased to offer a fabulous silverplated footed basket.  It is unmarked as to maker but we believe it to be Old Sheffield Plate from Engand.  It has exceptional scroll, acanthus and floral chasing and embossing inside the bowl.  The handle is ornate and the piece is heavy and very elegant.
Condition:
Excellent - there is copper showing through the plate but no scratches or shadows.  There are no monograms.
Size:
Bowl is 12" in diameter, 3 1/2 tall (not including the handle).  The base is 5 3/4" in diameter.
