    Item Description
    Circa - First quarter 19th C. It’s hard to find good old Sheffield plate like this anymore. This is the fine heavy fused silver not the microscopically thin electroplate used in more recent times. Oval lobed bowl having gadrooned and floral border. Raised on an oval, stepped, gadrooned base. Measures 11"H x 13.5"W. Unmarked. One small (pinhead size) pit in bottom of bowl. Otherwise in excellent condition.
