    This is a lovely Victorian Quadruple Silver BASKET - often called a Cake Basket - but also used as a Card Receiver, centerpiece or as a BRIDE'S Basket.
    The shape is square with a floral topped swing handle.  It is
    beautifully
    decorated with aesthetic period details:  open-work or reticulated corners, a hammered interior with 4 encircled repousse Birds,
    branches of
    engraved flowers, an embossed band at the base - all standing on 4 fancy feet featuring urns of flowers.
