For sale is the
Vintage Meriden Silver Plate Co Basket
.  It is
marked
MERIDEN Silver Plate Co    SC  278  Made in US America
on the bottom side (see pictures).   This is an original, not a reproduction.  It is used with some normal use and age wear (see pictures).  It is missing the glass bottom.  It is approximately 3.5" tall (not counting the handles).  The top oval is approximately 8" x 5.25" (not counting the handles.  The bottom feet are approximately 7.5" apart.  This would be a great addition to any collection.  I am not an expert on silverware, so I tried to describe this as best as possible.  If you have a specific question, or need a more precise picture of something, please let me know.
