Description

Victorian Art Glass BRIDE'S BOWL on an elegant Silverplate PEDESTAL by Middletown Silver Plate Co. - marked: Triple Plate - 659.
The bowl is cased glass, Pink over white, with a scalloped green Vaseline edge - the interior of the 12" bowl is ribbed and decorated with enamel beading - a border of raised enamel salmon colored scroll work is surrounded with white enamel leaves and flowers extending into the green edging.
The silver plate Pedestal is decorated with embossed bands of ivy around the foot and at the mid section. circa 1890's
Measurements
: 10.75" tall - BOWL - 12" wide, 3.5" high, foot is 3.75" wide, .5" deep. PEDESTAL stand - 8.25" tall, 5.5" wide base, 4.5" wide top, 4.125" inside, first level is .5" deep, overall depth of the top is 1.5".
