  • Condition: This is a unique and most expressive ornate historical circus and/or carnival jewel from old-time Germany! It is very striking and quite unusual. A Miniature Jester dances on a Giant Jester's Head! The enamel work is exquisite. This is an original 19th Century relic. It probably dates back to circa the 1890's. The jewel is in very good vintage condition with only some normal expected minor surface wear. No problems. The piece comes attached to a decorative chain of a later date which we were told was gold plated. We are not jewelers and cannot say if this item is silver or gold plated or not. We do not know. It is unmarked. But, if it were marked for silver or gold, our price would be way, way higher than what this gem is being listed for. This is a FANTASTIC CIRCUS ITEM!
