Antique Turkish? Moroccan? Silver Filigree Diamond Shaped Footed Basket

A gorgeous antique silver filigree basket.  This estate piece measures approximately 5" tall x 6 1/4" long x 5" wide and weighs about 6 oz.  It has an elongated diamond shape with four filigreed feet and a twisted silver handle with three flower decorations.  I gently hand polished parts of the basket to show the incredible detail of the piece but there is still some tarnish/corrosion expected of piece this age. The basket isn't marked but looks very much like other Moroccan, Turkish or Middle Eastern silver filigree pieces we have seen.  Please visit our store for an eclectic collection of vintage and antique treasures.
