Showing here is a
Antique Brides Basket with 4 engraved cherubs around the basket
area. The 1" edge of the basket and the circular base are a beautiful vines of leaves and flowers. It is marked on the bottom Rogers & Bros. Triple plate 4712.
Rogers & Bros. used this makers mark from about 1874 to 1898 in Waterbury, CT. After that time they became part of the International Silver Co.
It is from the wedding of my great grandparents Mary and Charles Emans. On November 27th 1889

This Victorian styled Brides Basket is 9 & 1/4" in diameter and 5" tall. The handle doesn't stay in the upright position on its own.
