    WDW – Featured Artist Collection 2005 (Mickey, Minnie & Friends Spinner) Mark Seppala LE750
    This Limited Edition Jumbo-sized spinner pin is part of the 2005 Featured Artist collection. Mark Seppala from Disney Design Group calls this pin Mickey, Minnie & Friends. This pin measures approximately 3" x 3" and includes the "Feature Artist" logo and Artist's signature back stamped. The pin is packaged in a beautiful display box and includes the Artist's bio and photograph. This jumbo pin has three pin backs. Pin features Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse in center, surrounded by seven black and white characters from classic cartoon shorts on the layer nearest the center; and seven colorized characters from Disney animated movies on the outer edge. Animated characters include: Dopey, Maleficent, Peter Pan, Snow White, Cruella de Vil, Dumbo and Ariel. The Black & White characters spin between the two color layers.Also included in the black & white portion of the spinner is Goofy, Bad Pete in Coonskin Cap, Horace Horsecollar, Clarabelle Cow, Goofy as a Prince (cartoon unknown), The Mad Doctor, Possibly Pete as a King (cartoon unknown). This pin will be available at the Art of Disney locations and Disney's Pin Traders at the Downtown Disney® Marketplace. Mark Seppala's bio reads: "Mark grew up in a small town in Massachusetts, Pembroke to be exact. At an early age he became extremely interested in Walt Disney and all the characters included in the Disney family. After graduation from high school he went to the New England School of Art and Design in Boston where he majored in Advertising Design and Animation. After graduating from art school, Mark held various positions at local Boston design studios and in-house graphics departments. He has designed and worked on projects for print ads, animated TV spots, trade show videos, logos and more. During the time he was employed at these studios, Mark continued to pursue his longing for a job at Disney. After trying for over 10 years he finally became a cast member in 1990 for Attractions Merchandise. To this day he continues to be amazed at the amount of talent he works with.
