Early-1900's Circus Promo Photo, Unlabeled Fat Man, Side Show Performer. It came to us in an assortment of Circus and Side Show Promo Photos. Unfortunately there is no name on the photo. He seems quite young, But of course in the early days, the performers purposely tried to put on as much weight as possible, because that made them more popular with the customers. And the link to heart disease wasn't known. It is in good to very good condition; clean and the photo displays quite well. However the glossy surface some minor abrasions. But even more, the corners all have some creases … some quite severe. The edges are strong though. And the photo does have a curve along the horizontal axis. A rare and original "Early-1900's Circus Promo Photo, Unlabeled Fat Man, Fat Boy, Side Show Performer."
The photograph measures approx. 7” x 4-12” (17.7 cm. x 11.6 cm.)  This photograph came to us with an assortment of Circus and Side Show Promo Photos.   Unfortunately there is no name on the back of the photo.   He seems quite young to be that heavy.   But of course in the early days of the Circus, the performers purposely tried to put on as much weight as possible, because that made them more popular with the customers.   And the link to heart disease wasn't known.
This striking "Promo Photograph" is in good to very good condition.  It is clean  and the photo displays quite well.  However the glossy surface some minor abrasions, but even more the corner all have some creases … some quite severe.    The edges are strong though.  And the photo does have a curve along the horizontal axis, something that is typical of these types of photos.
