    appearing at Foster's Photoplay House, Chicago, Ill.
    Foster's Photoplay House
    was started by William D. Foster
    , and is considered to be the first film production company established by an Africa-American featuring all African-American casts, Foster wrote for black newspapers across the country, produced a newsreel entitled, "The Colored Championship Baseball Game" and started a film in 1916 entitled "Birth of a Race", which had several wealthy financial backers,  including Booker T. Washingtons Tuskegee Circle, Julius Rosenwald of Sear Roebuck and Universal Pictures and was released in 1918.  This Foster's Photoplay House handbill advertising the
