Ideal Betsy Wetsy doll 17" rooted hair, hazel sleep eyes Vintage

Description

This listing is for a vintage Ideal Betsy Wetsy doll, approx. 17" with blonde rooted hair, hazel sleep eyes and pink lips. Her sleep eyes open and close and have feathered upper lashes.
Her hairline is missing some plugs and she has had a trim to her hair in various areas of her  hairstyle - see photos for the current look of her hair. Two snap-on red bows come with her.
Her lips are pink with some paint loss on the inner area - I think it is her original lip color, but there is some pink on minor areas surrounding her mouth. Please see the two photo closeups for details.
Her facial complexion also tends to be a shiny/lightly oily. In  very bright light her face has a yellow tone - not readily seen in normal lighting.
She is wearing a pretty vintage red and white polka dot dress that snaps up the back; a diaper style panty with ruffles that closes on the side with velcro and is of a plastic soft fabric  - originally from a Berenguer baby doll. She is wearing vintage white nylon socks that have some light staining and wear to the top of them. They are tied with a red ribbon for a bit of pretty trim.
She is not a perfect doll - but she would make a good addition to your collection if you are in need of a Betsy Wetsy. She has a slight internal rattle - must be part of the squeaker because she does not squeak when squeezed.
