Vintage Kosta Boda 100% Lead crystal vase #47847.
Designed by highly regarded Swedish silversmith and industrial designer,
Sigurd Persson (1914 - 2003).
Persson worked for Kosta from the late 1960's until 1982,
and designed striking Modernist sculptural glass during his tenure there.
This vase has a diamond-shaped mouth and faceted base.
The walls of the vase are extremely thick, catching and refracting light
beautifully
.
Vase is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs
Measures approximately 7" tall and is 5-3/4" by 4 1/2" at the mouth.
The vase sits upon an octagonal base which is signed "Kosta"
along with design number "47847" and artist name "Sig P".
Excellent condition.  No cracks, breaks, repairs or chips.
