This item is an original NOS Oil Filler Cap/Breather, that works on many GM models from 49-67 that includes trucks, GMC & Corvettes. This is the same cap the GM dealer would use to replace your factory cap if it needed it when your vintage car was new.  This cap has AC P/N FB 42  & GM P/N 6419440 on the factory box.  Your vintage  Chevy, Pontiac or  Oldsmobile, among other GM models,  most likely  used these P/N's in those years.  This cap is  in mint condition considering its age and should last for many many miles.  This cap has a depressed "AC" & "OIL" stamped on top with an AC FB 42 label firmly attached to its round body.  The color of this cap is blue.  This cap can be cleaned over & over again using the proper solvent without damaging the finish or metal parts. This same cap might work on other cars & trucks in this same time period such as:  AMC, Chrysler, Desoto,  Dodge, Plymouth, Ford, Edsel & Studebaker.   Look at the pictures and part number to be sure your special car can use this car part before you decide to buy.  This blue oil fill cap is sold "AS-IS" with NO returns.
