    Description

An original Imperial German sword-bayonet. Longer than a normal bayonet, but shorter than a sword, plus can be mounted onto a rifle or used as a normal melee sword, hence the name. Produced in 1871 and used by the German army all the way up to and through WW1. Length of entire sword-bayonet is roughly 26 inches, while the scabbard is roughly 22 inches in length. The scabbard is slightly damaged though repaired by whoever owned and used it at the time. The scabbard still functions properly and is in one piece, but it has certain gashes that can be seen in the pictures. As well as the sewed repairs made by whoever previously owned this item. This item is over a century old, and so no returns or refunds will be accepted under the reasoning of the item not being brand new, nor factory fresh. As it has certain minor damages and alterations that can be seen in the pictures, and it is obvious that such an old original antique would not be in brand new condition.
