    Today we are thrilled to offer for sale a rare pair of over-scaled and important hand-cut crystal glass chalices. These ornate and grand pieces are beautifully and intricately crafted and detailed. Each piece is decorated with cross-hatch cuts and a delicate floral bouquet along with a fanciful monogram of "GW" (George Washington?) or WG". Based on the size and important stature of these goblets, we're surmising that they originally had some institutional use in perhaps a university, fraternal organization or church? Each measures 10-1/2" in height and 4-1/2" in diameter at the the widest part of the piece.
    Pair of chalices are in very good antique condition with expected shelf-wear scratches on the bottoms, and nothing but typical tiny imperfections from the manufacturing process otherwise. No chips, cracks, or repairs. Overall, these pieces are a one of a kind item perfect for the advanced crystal glass collector. They are ready for use or display and will add gilded age grandeur and style to any interior! Fresh to the market!
