    Description

    Pre-WWI Weyersberg, Kirschbaum & Co M1895 Chile German Mauser Bayonet with Scabbard. Ricasso is marked "Weyersberg, Kirschbaum & Co". The grips are solid with a few scratches/nicks/small chips. The crossguard is marked "L7091". The blade has not been sharpened, the tip is a little sharp, it is clean, straight and tight. The spine has a "C" mark. The lock button is functional. The scabbard has "R8010" on the frog stud, it is solid with a few small dings, two dents by the ball finial, there is a faint o+ mark on the topside of the throat, and whole piece has been painted black at some point (light paint loss, mainly on the edges). Washer is missing. Length of the blade measures 9 7/8" (15/16" wide x 1/4" thick spine), length of the bayonet is 14 3/4", and in the scabbard it is 15 1/2". Muzzle opening is 5/8".
