What I believe is a WWI Imperial German L. O. Dietrich, Altenburg S98/05 1898/05 BUTCHER BLADE Bayonet with scabbard. There is a marking on the top of the blade and on the top of the scabbard of a crown and some initial. I cannot make out the initial. Please see the last two photos.
The blade has age related tarnish and minor pitting and signs of use.
