    This eBay offering is for a lot of two (2) medals from the Republic of Zaire in Central Africa.During colonial times it was known as the Belgian Congo.The medals were presented to women, like the family medals that were awarded in France.Note the French inscription on the reverse of the medals.I purchased them in Brussels, Belgium, when I was stationed there with the U.S. Army in 1992-1994.
