A major collector of china and crystal, I am putting up for sale my set of Minuet gold encrusted pieces by Glastonbury-Lotus.
This is a set of 9 glasses that are called footed tumbler. Very, very nice for water or ice tea.
The glasses are just short of 5.25” high with an opening of 3-3/8” and a base of 2.75”.
Holds 9 ounces.
The glasses are hand blown in the US and trimmed heavily in gold along the rim and lightly along the base. I do think these have very little to no lead content, so I do not classify them as crystal.
The Lotus company started doing business in 1912. I haven't found out the year of this pattern, but it could very likely be from the 1950s.
Condition
:
No chips, cracks or repairs.
The gold trim is in excellent condition.
