Silver Plated Figural Bride's Bowl with Ruffled Glass Insert - 1880's
This 1880's silver plated bride's bowl features Victorian women holding palettes and painting flowers around the bowl's supports. The borders of the base and bowl are enhanced with Arabian or possibly African scenes featuring camels, elephants, mules and trees.
The ruffled-top glass insert was most likely made by Hobbs Brockunier in the late 1800's. Absolutely mint with pink and  blue opalescent features coming through the knobs.
Notice the high-quality casting and details of the figures on this piece. Really amazing.
