    Description

    Shallow Bowl in a fitted Silver Basket with swing handle. Hand Painted in the Imari Pattern. Dates to circa 1870-80s, Staffordhshire England. One of the marks maybe Davenport, there is another mark underneath Pretzel W & W, William Wood and numbered 9256. The silver basket is very nice with four scrolled feet and twisted handle, very Victorian. Not found another like it. It is unmarked so believed to be Silverplated.
    Size: Bowl is 5" wide x 1 1/4" high. Basket is 5" high with handle in upright position x 5 3/4" wide. Weighs 12 oz.
    Condition: Some loss of gold on top rim. Fine glaze crazing present.
