Up for auction is a cake stand or centerpiece basket with exceptional design and details. The basket is silver over copper with a hint of copper showing through. The base is supported by 4 unusual claw feet which look to have been cast in two pieces and then attached to the base. The inside of the basket features a design of flowers and birds while the reticulated rim floral design. There is in a There is a tiny mark on each handle on the inside. I cant identify the mark but I have attached a pictures for your viewing. There is no way to identify the maker or date of production or the maker with out a visible mark but I believe it to be Sheffield Plate and Victorian. The basket stands about 8 inches tall, 11 inches long and 8.5 inches wide measuring across the handles. We will supply additional information and pictures if the buyer requests such. We do not believe in Buyers or Sellers Remorse. If we sell an item for less than worth we will still ship as part of our agreement but if you purchase an item we expect you to live up to your part of the bargain. Please ask questions.
