WILCOX SILVER PLATE BRIDE'S BASKET TAZZA ORNATE BOWL

Description

This is a STUNNING quadruple plate serving/brides bowl with handles on both sides and decorated with pierced panels, etched fushia flowers with a scene in the center of a house and boat on a lake on one side and a dove hovering over branches on the other.  It is made by Wilcox Silver Plate Co. in the early 1900's, in Meriden Conn.
It is in overall good antique condition with 2 dings and minor plate loss (showing some light scratches from over the years).  It also has a slight tilt, could have been dropped.  It measures 6 3/4" tall (not including handles) x 7 1/2" tall (top of handle) x 8 3/4" wide x 12" wide (handle to handle) x 4 7/8" wide base.
It is marked on the bottom "Quadruple Plate Wilcox Silver Plate Co (hallmark) 0950". There is no monogram on this item. The detailing on this piece is amazing!
