    In this auction you will be bidding on a German World War I deer horn handled trench / hunting knife. The knife length is 7 and 3/4 in overall. Blade is 3 and 3/4 long. There's no nickel finish left on this knife. Blade is marked Solingen. Blade has been sharpened post factory and is sharp. There is no wiggle in this knife. The deer horn handle shows no cracking or chipping. The scabbard has German nickel silver findings. The leather is still soft and supple, stitching is tight. Scabbard fits on the blade tightly.
