World War I German trench / hunting knife 8 and 3/4 in overall

In this auction you will be bidding on a World War I German trench / hunting knife. Overall length 8 and 3/4 in with a 4 1/4 inch blade.  This was a heavely nickeled blade that shows some burn throughs where the nickel has worn away. The knife has been sharpened post factory and is sharp. There is no wiggle in this knife. Dear horn handle shows no sign of cracking or chipping. Leather scabbard with German nickel findings is in good condition. All stitching is tight and the leather is still soft and supple. Scabbard fits security on the blade.
