WW1 German Officer's Sword w/Portepee Lion Head Engraved Blade NICE!!

For your approval very nice old world war I German officer sword with the knot. The maker mark is f w. Pfeiffer. The blade in the scabbard have not been polished, cleaned, buffed, waxed or any of that other stuff you see on eBay. I don't touch stuff I found out I wreck more stuff by trying to fix it then I save. So it's a bit grungy but it's really nice. There is some minor corrosion spotting on the scabbard there also is a bit of plate loss down towards the tip of the blade see photos. Overall this is really right, tight, and solid as it gets. I believe the knot, being that it's red me indicate artillery but that's for you to figure out. Guaranteed old and original and as usual low opener and no reserve.
