    Description

    WW1 German Trench Knife/Fighting Knife,Stag Handle,The  knife is 9''in length with a 4 1/8'' single edged  style blade. The blade shows light sharpening, scratches. pitting and age darkening. The blade is  maker marked  by Herder with the windmill trade mark.About half of the trade mark is worn away from age.The one piece stag handle is in nice condition with no cracks or splits. The handle has nickle silver furrel and pummel.
    The knife is solid with nothing loose. The scabbard is in good condition. The brown leather scabbard shows wear to the finish, with a metal chape to the end. The brown leather belt loop and buckled handle strap  are in good working order. This knife was probably a commercial  type of hunting knife.Sales to the USA only, shipping will be Priority Mail.
