Description

A very nice full length WW1 Imperial German 6th (1st Silesian) Field Artillery "Von Peucker" Sword, lovely overall condition with a fantastic etched blade to both sides. Etch hard to capture in the photo's though shows on one side a horseback group towing a field gun and on the other the full inscription pertaining to the Artillery Regiment. Very nice blade which would respond well to some oil or a polish, no rust or pitting. Scabbard in excellent condition with most of the black finish remaining. Overall a very nice sword. Especially with the great etching. Length of blade 31 1/2 inches apx.
