    Description

    Offered here is a rare bayonet which, unfortunately, is not in great shape.  1939 Jos. Corts with a matching SINGLE DIGIT serial number of ‘4e’!  Also, the bayonet comes with an ORIGINAL ‘Bread Bag’ frog on it.  Bayonet displays a lot of wear with rust throughout and has a BADLY sharpened blade on it.  I attempted to get a photo of the scabbard markings but the leather is extremely fragile and I did not want to risk damage.  There is no way the frog can be safely removed for a photograph, but I can see the ‘4e’.  I’ve owned this bayonet for a while and love the matching single digit, but I can’t get past that sharpening!  United States only.  No ‘0’ bidders unless prior contact is made via email.  2 days to pay.  Nonpaying bidder claim filed on day 3.
