WWI German Bavarian Imperial Sword / Sabre w/ Scabbard

Description

WWI German Bavarian Imperial Sword / Saber w/ Scabbard. Stamped with c.r kirschbaum solingen at base of blade, a symbol stamped on one side of handle with A.M. II. 7 & 16 stamped on handle and on top of scabbard. The numbers 2278 with a symbol are also stamped on the top of blade. Very nice example of a early Cavalry / Infantry Sword / Saber. The Blade is 29” L and in good shape with some tarnishing and wear in areas. (See detailed pics). Scabbard good shape with some dents and dings. The sword fits in as I should but inside needs to be cleaned properly because it has some residual rust inside that got onto the sword blade.
