    Description

    This is a WWI German Dove Head Infantry Officer's Sword and Scabbard with Portapee
    Made by the Alcoso Solingen Company in Germany.  Makers mark is located at the end of the blade by the hilt with A C and underneath an S within the scales of justice.
    Blade: measures 32 1/2" long and is in excellent clean and polished condition with original factory tip.  Some loss of finish is noted at the hand guard and pommel.
    Scabbard:  measures 36" inches long with 25% of original black enamel remaining. Attached to scabbard is an original WWI portapee which is in age appropriate conditon.
