WWI GERMAN MILITARY NON-OFFICER SWORD W/ SCABBARD 42" CEREONIAL. Here is a fascinating military ceremonial sword that I understand is a wwi, World War i, imperial German ceremonial non-officers sword. The beautiful vintage, but definitely used with age and storage war, roughly 31 inch sword with a 5 inch long hand grip, and it's sheath with one loop for hanging, reflects aging use, but it is a fascinating look into the early days of military regalia and edged weapon history. Please note that the wire strands meant to hold the grip to the scabbard look to be twisted in one place. I have shown a photo of how the wire is now twisted. I'm not sure how that happened but that is how it got to me. Please review photos. This fascinating vintage imperial German sword with brass hand grip and wrist guard, and with steel blade, and with metal scabbard with one loop, will make a great addition to any vintage military related Hardware or edge weapon collection, early warfare related ceremonial non-officers sword related edge weapon or field gear collection, or imperial German WWI first world war related military sword or edged weapon memorabilia collection.
