    To my bidders: For years I have done business on eBay using the name: gpstorageco*. The items I will be selling from this point on are being sold from my estate and from the estates of friends and relatives.
    This WWII Japanese T-30 Bayonet belonged to a friend of mine who recently passed away. He set aside vintage military items over the years. This was one of the blades in his collection of militaria.
    This WWII Japanese Type 30 Bayonet is as found. It is clean overall and is a mid to late war example with the rectangular pommel, straight crossguard & slabside blade (see photos). The bayonet's blade has issue sharpening only and retains 96% of it's original dark blue finish with some minor wear losses (see photos). It is marked at the ricasso with the Nagoya Toyada Loom makers marks (see photos). The crossguard and backstrap retain most of their blued finish but the pommel has some small areas of loss (see photos). Oil darkened wood grips are solid/tight and are secured with rivets (see photos). The pommel's spring loaded release button functions properly.
    The bayonet scabbard is clean/solid overall, with no dings or dents (see photos). It retains most of its original blued finish but there are some small areas of loss (see photos). Frog bracket remains tightly affixed (see photos).
    This WWII Japanese Type 30 bayonet is clean overall and is guaranteed to be an original period piece as described. It shows minimal/average use/wear but the overall presentation is excellent. Super research piece for the WWII Japanese Bayonet collector. Great opportunity to get a clean mid to late war Japanese bayonet.
